Each year the Rotary Club of Mt
Druitt raises and donates over $20,000 to
various local charities and community groups through regular fundraising,
raffles and member contributions.
Organises fun and fellowship for
Rotary members through theatre
outings, family days, golf days and various other social and sporting functions.
Each year we hold the annual
Christmas Party for Senior Citizens from local nursing homes. It's a great day
and everyone gets involved to make it a special day for the Senior Citizens.
At various times throughout the
year we present awards to recognise vocational excellence in our community to
honour outstanding citizens each
year.
We support the Mt Druitt Police
local area
Command through presentation of Policeperson of the Year Awards and also the
local Fire Brigade together with the St John Ambulance and the local State
Emergency Services.
